Up a bit late (830ish) due to lack of proper hydration, for some reason 4 or 5 IPA's after a triathlon doesn't hydrate me properly, I would say lesson learned but we all know better.
Weather up Rock Creek -
Morning - 40's and snowing - but fish rising for March Browns - they would flash the skwala but not take. No march browns hatching but fish still looking for them
Afternoon - 50's and overcast - BWO's out in force, fishing rising for them, not all over the place but in a few holes. Caught one beautiful 16" cutty - see below :)
Hatches - BWO, March Browns, verge of skwalas...did see some on the rocks but fish not aggressive to them yet - one more week.
Three Positive things for the day -
1. Caught a beautiful 16" cutthroat at Rock Creek about the bridge at the top
2. Found out that Jer and Care's new son (Lachlan) is improving and will be able to come home early this week
3. Went to bed early!
